Dear Friend,

Weedpatch Recordings has partnered with HomeAid Orange County to produce an exclusive documentary that will include original music about the issue of homelessness. Please feel free to visit www.HomeAidOC.com.

You should know that last year we produced a benefit CD and documentary titled “Shelter Me” that utilized homeless musicians and songwriters, which you may have seen on Cox-TV and KOCE. All proceeds from the sales of this particular project went to provide shelter, transitional housing, and other supportive services for Friendship Shelter in Laguna Beach.

As you know, our country’s homeless are still in need of housing assistance. We’ve seen recently how musicians and songwriters can come together to raise money for various relief efforts; this is the goal for homeless families here in the U.S., through the “relief” efforts of HomeAid Orange County, a non-profit organization that builds and renovates shelters for people who find themselves homeless due to sudden job loss, catastrophic illness, spousal desertion, and domestic violence.

Here’s the exciting part.

Your participation to this project will go directly into the making of this music-documentary, which ultimately will be used on a national scale for marketing and promotional purposes. In exchange for your tax-deductible donation, we will also help expose to a national audience your company’s brand.

We are particularly looking for sponsors interested in the music/charity connection, and your affiliation will be listed on our website and all marketing materials and, if possible, in the actual documentary itself. We also will be planning future charity projects and concerts involving a broad range of songwriters/musicians to which, naturally, you will receive exclusive VIP invitations.

We hope you will join us in helping create a powerfully moving voice for those who have gone unheard for so long.
